Cep d'Or wine estate

The Vesque family commissioned a well-known master builder to create a thrilling showcase for its wines.

The result can now be seen nestled into the hillside, with a man-made lake running alongside the panorama terrace. 

Its tall columns bearing the funnel-roof are visible from afar.

The remarkable concrete construction was embedded into the landscape based on designs from Luxembourg's own François Valentiny.

With its daring design, the Cep d’Or estate is considered one of the finest architectural treasures anywhere along the Luxembourg Mosel.

The estate’s own wine bar bears the lovely name ‘Tire-Bouchon’ (‘corkscrew’) and affords visitors a relaxed atmosphere for exploring the Vesque catalogue.

Master winemaker Jean-Marie Vesque cultivates well-known sites in the town of Stadtbredimus.

His programme is focused around a series of high-quality crémants. Yet there are also bottles with Auxerrois, Elbing, Pinot Gris as well as Pinot Noir and the rare Muskat Ottonel.

The amiable tasting room and large hall with a panorama view across the Mosel have helped make this a popular destination for wine aficionados.
